Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use thecareleaders.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control. We build the site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
Text and buttons meet the contrast levels in WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page works with a keyboard and shows where you are with a visible focus outline. Buttons and links are large enough to tap. Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content, and the layout works on phones. Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and videos only load when you choose to play them.
What we know still needs work
Some brochures and reports you can download are PDFs designed for print, and may not work well with a screen reader. Some case studies show photos of documents and slides, and the words in those images aren’t always repeated on the page. If you need any of this in another format, ask us and we’ll send it.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the site doesn’t work for you, or you need information in a different format, email hello@thecareleaders.com. We’ll reply within 5 working days.
